You have attained Independent 1 level.

You have simple digital practices that you manage independently in most everyday situations.

You know how to navigate the web to conduct in-depth research with relevant information. You know how to participate in collaborative activities (emailing, shared calendar, video meetings, shared documents). You know how to use the most common features of standard software (word processing and spreadsheets). You are aware of the risks associated with your digital practices and the need to secure them, as well as the environmental impact of your digital uses. You know how to solve common problems (password, connection).

You have attained Independent 2 level.

You are at ease in all common situations of digital use and master the usual vocabulary associated with digital technology.

You know how to implement a strategy for finding information on the Web and through social media and how to verify the reliability of the information found. You know how to use the main features of collaborative tools and create documents using various software applications (word processing, spreadsheets, slideshows, images). You can implement secure practices regarding personal data and the protection of your devices. You know how to adapt your digital practices to limit their impact on the environment and your health.

You have attained Advanced 1 level.

You have advanced digital practices and possess solid knowledge that allows you to face new situations independently. You can assist others.

You are capable of using specialised tools to reliably search for information, manage social media and edit images and videos. You know how to produce data analyses and appropriate graphical representations. You know how to set up a digital environment (installation and configuration). You are aware of the issues surrounding tracking and data collection. You understand the environmental and societal impacts of digital uses and know how to adapt your practices.

You have attained Advanced 2 level.

You have advanced digital practices and possess in-depth knowledge that you can creatively and securely apply for yourself or others. You can help others upskill.

You fully master your digital environment to create and share content, communicate and collaborate. You know how to manage your online presence and choose the relevant settings for your postings. You know how to programme and automate certain tasks (data processing, backup, updates, etc.). You can assist others in securing their practices, particularly by limiting their environmental and health impact.

You have attained Expert 1 level.

You have optimised digital practices and possess expert knowledge that allows you to methodically tackle complex and new situations.

You are capable of analysing a need, consulting documentation even of a technical nature, and evaluating digital solutions to implement the best one, or even developing tools yourself. You understand the economic, societal and ethical issues associated with digital technology and can exercise critical thinking about your digital practices. You can train yourself in new techniques and easily grasp the latest technological advances, such as those enabled by artificial intelligence.

You have attained Expert 2 level.

You are capable of documenting your solutions to new and specific problems to share them.
